That said I still am not jumping up and down for this game. Its exactly like the first and that kind of bored me too. Not even co-op saves it for me. I think I need to do something challenging to really have fun or something. Its just so much shooting and I have never been a big FPS guy.
This game is awesome in coop so far! Leo I went with Gaiges middle tree and got a skill that lets deathrap shoot leaser beams that sets guys on fire and itis BOSS. So awesome!

Tomorrow will be busy for me, sunday almost all football so I dont think I will rerent it until Monday. I need to decide if I want to keep playing it, the game is probably too long for me.
So many FPSs, after this I have to finish Reach before Halo 4. After Halo 4 is CoD. Then the Wii U launch has zombiU another FPS.
So you guys don't like playing with headsets? I tried chatting with you guys but got no response.

Yeah, leveling takes a long time, despite the greater experience. I think it is the same as it's always been, it just seems a lot longer compared to the new characters.

I love the game. Completely and totally. See my review here for solid evidence of that. This is NOT a troll topic!
My love for the game is only equaled by the HATE I feel when people blame Updates for causing problems with their Consoles. Most of the time it's probably just something wrong on their end.
I mention all of this because it kills me to say so --BUT-- something with the last Patch and the Dashboard Update for the 360 seems to have screwed up my system.
The system is brand new. All my other wireless devices are working fine --BUT-- for some reason, when the new 360 Update is applied THEN the 4 MB Update is applied for Borderlands 2, it causes me to NOT be able to connect to Xbox Live. My whole system even locks up when I try to go into Network Configuration to see if I can see what is wrong.
All my games are working fine. It's not the hard drive. If I restore initial settings, then do the "X,X, left bumper, right bumper" trick to re-download the updates, everything works fine. BUT, when I then go into Borderlands 2, it tells me I must download the 4 MB patch (again) and everything gets messed up.
If I get into the game with Live working (it works randomly, occasionally), it's stable, there's no problem and I don't lose connection etc --BUT-- the next time I turn my 360 on it won't connect to Live, it won't let me access Network Configuration again and I get a lot of hard lock ups where I need to turn the system off entirely.
If I understand correctly, wasn't the latest 4 MB patch made to protect against people hacking the game and people's profiles? If the patch has something to do with Network Connectivity or Security... I think it's having some unexpected side-effects...

Thanks. It's IS frustrating, but I can still play somewhat. I played a good amount of time with GME last night and it was fine, but this morning, just trying to get onto Live, was a REAL bitch!
